\nI very much enjoyed the writing style you used here. Your story unfolded in a cool way. You're a master of sarcastic, dead-pan dialogue, and the echoes and parallels you dropped throughout the story made it that much more fun to read. You struggled a bit to give the plot a clear direction, but plot isn't everything. You experimented in some clever ways, and that was a major goal of the project.

This is one of the most interesting novellas I've read in a long, long while. For starters, the writing style is quite captivating. In some ways, it reminds me of a musical trio, moving back and forth between melodic lines that sometimes cross, sometimes go their own ways. The style you're using establishes interesting patterns and takes me in and out of the individual stories in a way that keeps the story moving and keeps me wondering about each character.

\nAlso, the characters themselves are quite worthwhile. Each is quirky and interesting and unique. Each has things that aren't quite explained, giving me questions and problems to think about. Each has enough of a back story to make them compelling without nailing them down into a stereotype.

\nIt's almost like a mini-soap opera, yet far more interesting. You're doing a great job of sustaining this narrative style, and I urge you to stick with it. The short-ish sections and the rotating of stories (as I mentioned) works really well to keep me focused and engaged. I get the sense that you're having fun with this.
